    Hey,

I am experiencing some difficulties after updating drivers of my NVIDIAŸ GeForceŸ GT 420M to the version of 8.17.12.6639. After the update was made, I have noticed that my fps drops badly when playing day of defeat for instance. everything goes smoothly until I meet somebody in the game, then fps drops rapidly to 9.

    My specs are:
    IntelŸ Core™ i5-560M (2.66GHz, 4 threads, turbo boost up to 3.33Ghz, 3M cache)
4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 Memory
500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
NVIDIAŸ GeForceŸ GT 420M 1GB graphics with Optimus

    Plz help!

my guess would be the issues the source engine has with optimus. i *believe* the solution is to roll back to an earlier driver version until nvidia fixes this.

I would download the latest version from the NVIDIA wbesite, 266.58 WHQL, I've been using it for a few weeks now and no issues when playing any games including Crysis 2 Demo
