    XPS battery charging concepts

    so dell recommends charging the laptop batter for 12 hrs before first use. this sounds like a sound idea for increasing battery life. my question is can i use the lappy as long as its never dc'd from the charger in those 12 hours?

    also would love to start a discussion on the first battery treatment in general
