    Hi all

When I run the Virtualmark on http://service.futuremark.com/index.action i get only 6500 in score.

I believe that something is wrong.

    I run 2,4GHz, 4GB, 8700 SLI.
I have downloaded all the latest drivers for all hardware (incl. the performance graphics drivers from dell.com)

Could someone with an equivalent system run the Virtualmark from there homepage and post the result here?
This way I can find out if there is something wrong with my system.

To mention a game comparision...I can barely run Crysis on medium at 1200*800 res.

Probably you are already doing this, but just making sure: are you running your laptop plugged in and are you using the 'high performance' power plan?

Also did you try running 3d mark 06?If so then what score did you get?

Well I think for 8700M GT ,thats okay(not sure though). You might want to hear other's opinion as well.I never had the 8700M GT, I have the 8800M GTX and got 13994 3d mark 06 score with SLI enabled and cpu running at 2.8 Ghz.

That 3DMark06 score with the dual 8700m's is fine.
When i had my 8700m's I was getting around the same score, so you need'nt worry.

Once you get the 8800m's (if you do) your score will increase to around 12,000, since your CPU will hold you back a little. I get a score of around 12,400 with my laptop, since I hav ethe Extreme CPU.

8800's are HIGHLY recommended, you really do notice a major performance increase in gameplay!
