    Hello..

    Need Help Please..
brought a dell M1730 off a friend, but i want to sell it now. i need to know its specs ive looked in the properties in my computer and loaded a program c puz it list all the hardware but it only shows a few things : intel core2 duo T9500 2.6GHz, 4gb ram, 64 bit, 17", 2x 200gig hard drives and was loaded with xp. ideally im looking for a way to identify all specs so i can list it on ebay.. if i get something wrong on listing someone might not be happy. and for me with little knowledge when it comes to computers i would just like to copy and paste the details from a site..
    express service code
    29-136-945-43
    model number
    pp06xa ref: 06138

there are other codes on laptop surely one will list whats in the laptop???

and also what would make a great replacement something a little bit smaller and lighter would be a bonus, but still powerful..

many thanks for any help or advice you can give me.
    stuart..

CPU-Z will show you the specs in different tags.

Also the Service Tag will help alot (Dell's form of serial number).

Wow what a beast of a computer.

The specs you listed are generally enough. Heres what I would put in the ebay list

    INTEL(R) CORE 2 DUO T9500 2.60GHZ
    4GB 667MHZ DUAL CHANNEL DDR2 SDRAM (2X 2GB)
DUAL SLI 512MB NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800GTX
    AGEIA PHYSX PROCESSING CARD
    17.0" ULTRASHARP WIDESCREEN WUXGA (1920X1200)
    400GB (7200RPM) SATA RAID 0 (2x200gb Hard drives)
    8X DVD+/-RW DRIVE

    INTEL PRO WIRELESS 3945 802.11A/B/G
    DELL MOBILE BLUETOOTH 355

UK/IRISH 220V AC ADAPTER POWER CORD
    AC ADAPTER 230W

and then any software that you have on the computer (ie windows xp, antivirus, microsoft office)

(Not sure if you have it still)
9-CELL 85WHR LI-ION BATTERY (sounds like you have 2 of them maybe)
    DELL TRAVEL REMOTE CONTROL
