ok guys i have the later version of the xps m1730, the SLI 8700 version, and while this is all very good, here is what happens

i can only stay on the first driver, the one dell provides, when i update it, (whether i use the modded inf file drivers, or not), it installs and everything, restart, it says i have the driver right.

and i check games theyre all fine, fully updated
but then, i plug my laptop into my hdtv (dvi to HDMI)

and the default settings are off the screen, so in order to change them i must resize the HDTV desktop, upon clicking this, my nvidia panel crashes, and when its stopped crashing, it is no longer on my computer.#

this only persists with my hdtv, but the whole point of this laptop is to be my hdtv unit.

but on the only driver version that works, there is NO RESIZE OPTION FOR HDTV's BECAUSE ITS ANCIENT.

so either way i can either have no hdtv, or badly sized.

this issue also persists when i turn SLI on with HDMI plugged in

nvidia simply uninstalls andvanishs, and everything goes to crap rez, and after i restart, everythings normaly again

    please help.

PS. im ciurrently at a LAN so u can expect quick responses
