    Hi guys,

Using wireless I've never gotten a faster network transfer speed (1 computer to another) than 2.5MB/s

    Is this normal?

That's pretty good, what type of connection are you using? Remember 802.11 standards are in Mbit which is 1/8 of actual speed in MB. 802.11g is rated 54Mbit/s but typically has throughput of around 22Mbit/s or 2.75MB/s.
