    Hi all,

I'm finding the XPS M1530 Touchpad is a bit difficult. I'm using the Alps Pointing-device Driver for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista version 7.0.1.27 - I got the installation files from a thread on this site. When I installed XP on a new partition on my laptop and used the installation files, everything worked fine including the touchpad, which seemed to have stopped freezing intermittently like it did on Vista. However recently the app has a new problem - sometimes it will start normally with Windows but somehow the side scroller stops working.

Does anyone know of this problem, or can anyone suggest a different touchpad driver to try?

    Thanks :)

EDIT: Oops, forgot to try the forum search button first. Have found an updated driver and will post back whether it works or not!
