    Hello there,

XPS 1530 users, should be know the stock settings are 475/702Mhz

In nTune, the green small cures at the GPU bus speed section,

if u point there, it says, "If a bus speed is depicted with a red color, that bus is operating outside and acceptable tolerance and could suffer damage."

is that mean if your bus speed green box turn to red, its dangerous?

I'd overclocked my 475/702 to 520/770 by looking at temperature and running heavy graphic game like cod4, crysis for a long time, it seems temperature didn get higher than usual and stable.

the 520/770 are maximum in "green box" range,

should i go higher if i can? (turn to yellow or red)
any suggestion? the people who had experience on his/her XPS m1530 8600M GT GDDR3

i had mine OCed to 650 core and 900 memory, it was completely stable however temps were in the 80's during gameplay. What temps are you getting with yours?

so, about the ntune gpu bus speed warning colour cures, that just ntune recommend u not to overclock over that speed ?

it really doesnt matter? if i go higher 575/800 i reach the red warning...

I overclocked my gpu to 575/803 and my gpu's max temp is 71 C now. Idling at 50 C.

I don't think the red mark really matters unless you keep your gpu temperature below 80 C.

p.s Don't be surprised by looking at my m1530's temperatures because I built my own monster laptop cooler to achieve those temps. ;)

with no external cooler for me that's impossible...most probably your monitoring software doesn't work accurately

yeah, we have discussed this before, yoma's laptop has Uber cooling for some reason :D

by the by, at 625 clock, 900 mem, im getting a max temp of 82C while gaming on the GPU, ( i get 80C on normal clocks) so you should be OK. and ntune's red/yellow/green interface is just a precaution, this card can OC at 750 core without a problem, but getting memory above the 950 mhz will make your driver crash, so just keep an eye out for your temps and your good to go !
