Is the battery charger getting very hot normal? As I am typing this I have it plugged in and running a blueray movie and it is very very hot! The vent area of the laptop and the area of the left speaker are also very hot. Today is the first time I play a movie on it and did not notice this before. This is my first laptop so sorry for all the questions but so far this forum has been great! Im still within the 21 day return period andthis is actually th second one I receive, the first one had some cosmetic flaws so they sent me a new one which also has a few cosmetic flaws but not as bad as the first one. Do you guys think it would be worth waiting for the new XPS line to come out or is it just a rumor?

Yes, its normal for the powerpack to become very hot... unfortunately on all notebooks
The M1530 runs pretty hot, plus when your using Blu-Ray, it may get pretty hot. But so we can make sure its not dangerously hot, please get HWMonitor HERE (Select download on left side bar) and post on the temps that you have.

    Yea its normal

m1530 is hot 'externally' but internally everything seems to be fine (with components running at around 40-55, and gpu around 55-65)

The charger yes, it gets pretty hot ... lol
