Hi all
i have XPS M1530 , off lately my dvd (slot load) is not reading dvd,cd`s ... it reads some... it doesnt read many its now 2 years old now...
what to do ? i am really P!ssed dince it cant write / read anything nowadays, could it be firmware issue or os issue (windows 7 ultimate)
and also my 6 cell battery is dying.. i want to upgrade to 9 cell , where can i get ( new one)
i found this seller Battery for Dell 1530 XPS M1530 TK330 9 Cell 7200mAh UK on eBay (end time 02-Jun-10 09:46:14 BST)
is it trustable ? help me on this issue

1 year warranty looks legit on the battery. as for the dvd drive it is hard to say. shouldnt be a problem with windows 7 or anything like that. sounds like a hardware thing to me

looks like a good deal to me. yeah you can always order parts through dell but that can be spendy. id look around before i went through dell

If you're going to get a generic battery, you can get a much better deal than that.

Just remember that you can really only be sure of about 30 days warranty for ANY battery purchased off ebay once you get it. This is because you can still get paypal to help you. If you email them 6 months later for example, they will just ignore you and you can't do anything about it.
