The far right Volume Up Capacitive Media Control is not responsive on my XPS M1530. All the others work fine, a light touch, they light up and the expected function works. The Volume Up button only works sporadically if I really press on it. Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? After my screen problems, I want to avoid customer service as much as possible. (Was this Dell customer service's goal by being rude and unhelpful, to deter me from future interaction?)

Any help on the media control button?

Just use the remote if you dont want to use customer service , or you can try and prise up the black panel , mine has slight marks where it has been jammed in , so it looks it can be removed for inspection

I have the same problem, I just live with it.... Not worth calling dell and getting someone who doesn't care to rip my computer apart.
