My XPS M1530 came a couple of days ago -- WSXGA+ with a Samsung screen.

In the bottom right corner there's a small black area. Looks like a smudge, but the screen is clean. It's really quite a small area of the screen, but is still somewhat annoying.

Any guess as to what's causing it & whether it's likely to become worse?

    Thanks.

Seems like the light isn't illuminating the whole bottom screen. Looks more like a shadow.
