    Just installed Vista SP1
I was surprised to see that my temps had gone up instead of the claimed "better power management"

from CPU 46, GPU 63 it rose to CPU 50, GPU 66 while on idle...

Has anyone else experienced this temp increase upon installing Vista SP1?

    Im using Nvidia 167.45 Drivers

How accurate are those temp readings.. have you rebooted?

A scan for SP1 could be running on the background.

maybe a upgrade in drivers is call for action esp. the gpu driver. go to laptopvideo2go.com for the drivers. ask other people with the m1330 what the best driver is currently. ur driver is rly old.

as i read in many forums, the drive 167.45 is the way to go.
some of the newer ones gets the gpu to overheat.

    anyone else can confirm this?

    Thanks

when i installed the 167.45 from laptopvideo2go, it says that i installed 174.xx (the lastest from Dell website)

can anyone check the drivers there?
