    XPS M1330 Will never power on again :S ..!

    Hey suup guys

    how u doin all

    here is ma story

    " 2 days ago, i was using my XPS, suddenly i saw low battrey, so decided to
    plug the charger, i pluged my brothers charger " wich he bought few days ago coz his orignal one if no longer working "

    pluged it, suddenly, boom Laptop stoped working
    i brought my charger the orgnal one
    as u know there is a blue light on the charger

    so when ever i plug the charger in the laptop, the blue light
    on the charger goes off :S and my laptop will
    never start again ..!

    so did any one have a prob like this :)

    and can anyone help plz :S

    take the battery out, then hit FN ESC and the power button (while it is plugged in)

    try that :p

    sounds like your motherboard is dead. I had a similar problem and I called tech support and they came out and replaced it.

    really strange

    the laptop was working 100%, i just pluged the other charger

    anywayz, thx both..

    hope any one can help me :S

    Your motherboard is dead. If the blue light on the charger goes out (there's maybe a popping sound when you plug it in?) it means the charger shorted, which means that there's something on your motherboard that's shorting the charger. Whatever it is it isn't good for your charger.

    It also means your laptop is probably hosed without a motherboard replacement or some very good soldering skills.
