Hi,
I got a XPS m1330 with an LED screen. On low brightness, I can see dark spots across the bottom of the screen. They are usually visible on a white background, like in "My Computer" window. So, I had my screen replaced and today the tech came out and put in a new LED. I am still having the same issue, so I am wondering if they are all like this.
Can you please check yours if it has dark spots across the bottom of the screen? They are very faint and can be seen from 3 feet away or so when "MY COMPUTER" or a white window is open. This is on low brightness only.
What could be the problem? The tech came today to replace the old one and the new one is having the same problem.

I don't have a 1330 LED but I can say that you shoulnd't have a screen that does that. I have a LED in my mini9 and m1530 and neither look like that.

i dont have that on any of my machines....

I've got the M1330 with the LED screen and mine certainly does not have the odd-looking shadow spots at the bottom.
Almost looks like something is pinching the screen, symetrically, across the bottom of the screen. -
Sorry no such issue on any of ours here.

If the entire screen has been replaced (lamp and LCD), then perhaps try and remove the frame around the screen and see whether the dark spots persist.
