    Hi...

After (stupidly) cleaning my screen with disinfecting wipes, my screen has developed 'blue streaks' in one area of the screen. So I presume the screen has to be replaced...Im pretty sure it is the LED screen :(

I've checked on an external monitor and the lines do not appear so no graphics card/motherboard issue

    - Where is the best place to buy a new screen?
    - Can I replace the screen myself?
    - Does anyone know the original manufacturer of the screen? ie what exact screen should I order?

Thanks for any help and advice!

You can change your display its not that hard.

you can find complete tear down manauls on dells site for your laptop.

You can either locate the part number of the screen by either checking the back side of the LCD display - removing the from and read bezal eill revel this.

You can use software like SiSoftware Sandra it will give you the Manufacters ID and Part #.

Ebay is one option, there are also several online stores that sell LCD Displays.
