Is there a way to bypass the charging board on a Dell XPS m1330? Obviously i have a faulty charging board like the picture above. U1 and U2 are burned. I tested it with a working one from a friend and it powers on just fine.

Since the battery is dead anyway, i just want to use it using just the AC adapter. Unfortunately it won't power on without the charging board attached. Anyone knows how can I power it on without that board?

    Will appreciate any help.

Buy a new board on eBay. They are only a few dollars - they start at about $5.00 in the Us plus postage. Are you sure it's the charger board and not the motherboard?
