Hi guys. I dropped my lovely XPS 9560 and matrix protection ( screen glass ) broked :-( ... just a couple of cracks. I bought a new screen from aliexpress and it was defective, so I sent it back. My question is - does anybody faced with a problem of changing GLASS on your XPS. Are you did with yourself. Matrix itself is not damaged. Don't know what to do exactly...

Not quite sure what you mean by matrix protection unless you're referring to the touch digitizer.

Either way you're gonna have a terrible time replacing just the glass in the xps since the screen panel and the glass are bonded together using LOCA or any equivalent adhesive. So even if you manage to separate the panel from the glass without breaking it, you'd have to bond it to your new glass without trapping any dust and making sure the screen is correctly aligned.

Save yourself the trouble and get a new screen assembly off ebay
