    I don't know what diagnostic software your laptop has, but I would start running checks to see which hardware item is failing. I know the newer Dells come with diagnostic software preloaded just for such an occasion. You may want to download a software program called, "System Mechanic", here is the link:

    It is one of those where you get to try it to see if you like it. I know the professional version (which I have) lets you run checks on your hardware. Hey if you don;t have anything else, it's free, so give it a shot.

    What ever your problem is, it doesn't look good. I ran a Google search on the beep pattern and here are some links:

    Ok, i just downloaded the program and analized it.. apparently it found some physical problem related to the HDD... i bought the 10 usd thingy to get the fix... Ill let you know if this helped or not. Thanks.

    That would be a Dell Support question as it is past my knowledge base. Give them a call and see what they say. Has your problem gotten straightened out by chance?
