Hi, did a search but couldn't find anything specific. I bought a 15z off eBay thinking it had the 1080p screen option but it didn't :( the seller has offered me a full refund to send it back or £100 partial refund if I keep it! So before I decide I was wondering if it I could put that money towards a new screen. Is it possible? Straight swap?

I got it for a really good price so I'm in limbo as to what to do. Hopefully some of you nice people can help.

    Much appreciated.

Most likely you would need the 1080p LVDS cable as most 720p aren't full channel.

does anybody know for sure if you need to buy a new cable for the 15z when upgrading from a 720p screen to the b156hw01 v.4? I can only find one type of replacement cable for the 15z. Also, is the b156hw01 v.4 even compatible with the 15z?
