    Man, I cannot put my laptop on my lap for more than 10 minutes!!! It gets so hot. Is there any cooler that I can keep on my lap with the laptop on it to keep it cool? Please help. Thanks.

    Btw, here is the temp readings from CUPID Hardware Monitor (thanks to flip)

    this is when the laptop is on flat surface with 3 word documents and 1 firefox (10-12 tabs open)

    Your temps are in the good range. Which area beneath the notebook is hot? Can you pinpoint which part is hot? I have a feeling its the HDD

    Have a read at my undervolting guide, it should reduce the temps by 10c or more.

    The center gets really hot haha that's what I feel the most ;)
    Yes even when I put it on a flat surface it's the center which is getting hot.. Like front-center.
