    XPS 1530 wireless problem

    hey my i have a netgear and when i try to connect to the wireless signal w/e it see's the signal but wont connect to the signal or when it does it has very slow connection and disconnects alot in my basement and the computer is directly above on the next floor where i use it any help?

    reset your router... check if you can flash dd-wrt onto ur netgear (mines a WNR834B... loaded with dd-wrt... solid!!)

    connection speed, signal, strength.... (b/g/n? signal quality?)

    my router (with internal antennas) can barely pass through 3 walls of concrete( in my dorm room...)... yours?

    Also check for the latest firmware for your router and drivers for your wireless card.

    I use the Linksys WRT54G for my 1530, and has worked out just fine for me ;)
