    good day to all.

i just got a brand new XPS 1530. It wont boot up when im not using the power adapter. but it works fine with the AC power. when im already inside the Windows, battery health is good and working.

it's still working if i unplugged the AC power when im inside the windows but if i restart it without the AC power, it wont boot anymore. it only reaches the Dell logo. it shuts down after that.

but i can access the Dell Media Direct without the AC Power. and i can still play music and view pictures on it.

please help me to troubleshoot this. thank you very much for your usual help and assistance.

This needs to be handled by Dell. You will either need to exchange it or have them fix it. There is an obvious hardware issue with this notebook.

See below..to atbnet's reply...you should contact Dell for a new replacement, the sooner the better..since you just rec'd your 1530 and are having these issues. ;)
