    Hello,

Received my new laptop end of November. Sweet machine but started having problems resuming from stand-by mode. When I open the lid you can hear it start and see the lights come on but the screen won't come on most times. Sometimes it will after a couple minutes.

My guess something to do with the video card driver or a program making it hang. I haven't installed anything new before the problem started.

Anyone else having any problems or any ideas. I haven't tried re-installing the video driver yet, wanted to get your guys take on it.

    Thank you,

    dll problem
update everything that is more recent on dell support site

    type
    Event viewer
    in search, then hit enter

Should tell you what's causing the errors on standby / resume

should also disable hybrid sleep (on battery and power) in power management options
