So i noticed this when a tech came to replace my fans cuz they were loud, the tech didn't mention this but i saw it so i talked to dell they said to send it back and they will fix it. So i send it to Dell Feb 22 and my warranty is supposed to expire Feb 26 and today i got the laptop back and this is what they replaced:
    • RVTXY - Fan Assembly
    • HYY21 - Heatsink
    • 36CV9 - Fan Assembly
    • 1P6KD - Battery
    • 64TM0 - Cables and Cord
Now keep in mind that my laptop was working perfectly so idk why they replaced all this stuff but whatever i dont care as long as they fixed the screws so i boot-up the laptop, fans still loud (Probably because of the heatsink not making enough contact, 2 screw mounts stripped) so i opened it up to take a quick look and they did not fix the main issue i sent it in for. How dumb of a person you have to be to work at Dell as a tech? WTF?
Now they keep transferring me and i'm not getting an answer. They ask you to hold then disconnect. What are my opions guys?
Bunch of ****ing num nuts working as techs at Dell, ****ing unbelievable...

It takes a special kind of stupid to work for Dell, where you sent it was no more than some random company with the contract. Make sure you get compensated. As you reported the matter before the warranty expired by law you are covered. Also all work done should come with a 30 to 90 day warranty.

That is probably what i'll do if they don't fix it. It was an easy repair but i cannot believe Dell... And yes i made sure before sending it in that what if it comes with more issues? like it does everytime i send it to dell. This time they reset the BIOS and couldn't boot so they send me a document telling me to call them so they can help me reinstall my OS.. Are you ****ing kidding me.. make a ****ing backup of my BIOS settings if you don't know what's going on, i'm glad they didnt just reinstall windows i'd be furious... all i needed was switching from UEFI to legacy for it to boot.

See if you can demand an onsite service, you never know your luck.

They asked me to send it back and there's no way i'm sending it back to them. They either send the parts and i can fix it myself or send a tech that i can watch while he does the work.

Edit: Could you believe the best way to get some help on this was through chat support? They dropped my call 6 times every time asking me to hold then after 5-10 mins drop...
