I have my XPS 15 configured with the Intel Centrino 1000-N Wireless card and find that the card loses connection often in between intermittently. Sites like youtube, google and several other websites just keep timing out when I am connected on WiFi. I land up with the page can't be found error. Once I refresh, the website comes up automatically.

I thought this was an issue with my modem or router but after extensive testing using other computers and smartphones on my network, I am sure it is with the WiFi card. I even tested the laptop on my University's WiFi and the problem persists there as well.

I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers, checked and re-checked all my adapter settings (IPv4 settings, WiFi card settings) even removed and reseated the WiFi card manually but the problem still persists.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Have you tried the latest driver from Intel?

I would check out the latest Intel wifi drivers. Also check if you have a loose connection on the Wifi card.

Intel drivers are most likely the way to go. My wireless card on my SXPS 16 always used to disconnect randomly until I used one of the Intel drivers. You might have to try one before the latest. Mine was only fine with the driver before the latest.
