Hi, I was thinking of purchasing a XPS 1330. However I am sort of disappointed to know that it doesnt have s-video. I need such a functionality quite a lot... I connect my laptop to TV very frequently. What other alternatives are there with XPS1330 that I can use to connect it to TV.. If it requires buying some other kind of cable what is it and how much it will cost? can someone help me please...

I suppose your tv doesn't have an HDMI in? The m1330 has vga output and HDMI output (for connecting to a tv).

    HDMI, DVI = digital
S-video, component, rca, etc... = analog

I think they do have available VGA to RCA adapters or VGA to S-video, although I cannot guarantee the quality of the picture, let alone if it will work at all. Try googling VGA to RCA to find them. Most are very cheap, so even if it doesn't work it won't break the bank to try.

if you ask this guy, he'll easily tell you if such a cable exists, how much it costs, and where you can get it.

the most awesome part of it all is that it's free. he doesn't charge you anything.
