I've installed a new network card on my xps 13. Used as 3rd antenna one of the wwan ones.
Installed the drivers, but after restart all system freezes and I cannot do anything.
Any ideea why is this happening?

Yes that happened to me too. It mainly causes by the compatibility of the intel wifi card. It works well with intel chipset only but sometimes not. In this case it won't. It will make your laptop freezes at start up, shutting down, the time you change from high to power saving, and the time you disable the wifi card. So you might just sell it or use it with another laptop.

Intel 5300 should be compatible..I mean any wireless card with the right height factor and provided it has 3 antennas for the N-draft should work with it. Nvidia chipsets shouldn't be solely compatible with Atheros wireless cards.

I know. It's a drag to have Dell not offer Intel Wireless especially the 5300 except on the SXPS 16. Only option is a rebadged Atheros on the XPS 13

What about installing a full size 5300 in the wwan slot? :D
