    My xps 13 9343 is having intermittent occurrences of no sound in Windows 10. I am unable to adjust the audio and no device is found in device manager or in the sound properties. I have repeatedly to update or reinstall the audio driver, but to no avail. The only thing that will fix it is to cycle between Auto and Thorough boot mode as seen here:

    This will fix the issue for a couple of days, but then the problem occurs again. Is there any kind of permanent fix that I can get from this?
