I got the new XPS 13 2015 version and installed Win 7 on it because I don't like Win 8. I'm having trouble installing the driver for the Wi-fi adapter as the setup keeps telling me that the OS is incompatible even though the dell website says it supports Win 7.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

Revert it back to Win 8. Sorry bud, but your nightmare has yet to begin, from touchpad, etc.

Trust me. I was one of the original who tried everything to get Win 7 pro 64bit to work. This laptop just does not take it.

    Hey man,

I actually got everything to work just fine. No problems what so ever. Touchpad works fine and so does Wifi. If you need any help you can ask me.

My issue with the touchpad happened every 1-2 days after I got it to work. Will revert back the settings and just quit working. Did installation 3 times, but all same issues, so I gave up.

I did see some significant difference in battery life between 7 and 8.1, which alone got me back to 8.1

I'm having problems (BSOD) with the broadcom drivers also -- what did you end up doing to get it to work?

Never had a problem with DW1560 driver version 6.30.223.228 and I did it at least 5 times on two 9343 laptops. Sometimes it takes much longer than other drivers to install, maybe because is wifi and BT together?
