    Hi,

I have an XPS 12 Ivy Bridge version 9Q23. I've noticed that when it is idle (showing the lock screen or screen off) the CPU usage goes up, causing the fan to spin up and be annoying. I've noticed that the process "csrss.exe" uses ~15% CPU when it is doing this. I've also noticed this has something to do with the Intel graphics drivers. If I revert to the ones generic Microsoft display driver then this issue doesn't happen. If I install the Intel drivers either from Dell or from Intel then it does. Obviously I can't use the generic Microsoft drivers and must use the Intel ones though.

    I'm running Windows 8.1 x64.

Any one have a clue what's going on here? Thanks.
