    XPS - Internet Tools on Menu Bar

    When I am on the internet and I click tools on the Menu Bar, just above internet options, is says partygammon.com and sun java console, goodness knows how this had got there, but does anybody know how to remove it?

    Okay, firstly, Sun Java Console is nothing to worry about. It makes certain web apps work (sort of like Flash). Secondly, try this to get rid of the other one:

    1. Hit Start > Accessories > System Tools > IE (No Addons)
    2. Check to see if it is still there
    3. Restart IE in normal mode
    4. Go to Tools > Manage Addons > Enable/Disable Addons
    5. Post the list of addons and I'll try to figure out which one it is

    Once we've figured out which one it is, select it, hit disable, and click OK. Restart IE, and it should be gone.
