MMMM OK, I taking a shoot, but i think:
This shows that there is a problem with one off your services in XP OR a problem whit one of your drivers..(bad installed or something)

Try running "MSconfig" ( press: Windows Key + R--->and write: MSConfig ) and play with some services in Safe mode and the log back to normal mode until you found the problem...

thanx for ur ans man. actually i was installing Adobe CS3. i wlyas use 2 have this program in my computer. so today when after being reinstalled OS(for some other reason) i installed it back again. so when i restart my OS. it stucks on windows log in screen with some coulered on top left corner. then i logged in safe mode and found it was giving me an error which is like C:/WINDOWS/......I forgot. anyways i resolved that by retyping Explorer.exe on winlogon in registry. now i can log on to desktop but it just loads security warning bottom right corner and nVidia driver. nothing more, oh yea desktop icons. i don't knw what the hell going on. this is my 3rd time i m having problem with this Adobe CS3. but b4 i haven't had any prob with this program. guys is there anything i should change on registry to keep my desktop running. what u suggested is so annoying as there r lots of services. it could b easier from the start up program. plz help me with more details.

NB: I SHOULD TELL U THAT A COUPLE OF MOTHS AGO I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THEN I FOUND ON THE NET THAT SOME ONE SUGGESTED TO RUN A COMMAND FOR WINDOWS FILE OR SOMETHING FROM THE COMAND PROMPT. I FORGOT WHAT WAS THAT. BUT THAT RESOLVED THAT TIME.

Well, maybe you should try using system restore to get back to the time when windows was fine....

I never use system restore in Win XP, but sure in Google you can find a way to use it...

About the CS3, maybe you have a CD or you have a Backup file, either way seems that the program is corrupted (it happened to me one time whit a backup file!)...

i hate restoring as well. cuz it confused me about the space of the partition where OS is installed. anyways, i couldn't but repair by the OS CD. but that was not the way to resolve this issue. when a couple of months ago i had this problem i found the solution by googling.

about CS3. i have been using this same CS3 since 6months. never had a prob b4. even when i installed it in VISTA a couple of days ago didn't get any prob. only thrice in XP to night. now i m back on my desktop, running normal and updating this stupid CS3. i don't know if it will give me any more prob. caus 1st time today it has given me trouble when i was updating it. anyway, thnx for ur comments. and if u knw any solution of this kind of situation let me knw. take care.
