    1730Wow Ed. Arrived today - I thought I'd attach some pictures of what came in the "BIG BOX" for those that are interested in the wow package. Opened the WOW backpack and it threw up what you see below.

    Typical Spec's - X9000, 8800GTX, 4GB etc.... Have not powered it up yet as I'm still going through all of the stuff/Junk that came in the box. Will post initial thoughts of accessories etc...

    How does one turn-on Lightfx? I looked at Quickset and was not able to find it - is it installed by default or do you need to DL it?

    Alliance - went Alliance due to the fact that my 2 year old thought the symbol was 2 LIONs- and was pretty enthusiastic about it :)

    In Quickset, there is a section with Gaming.
    You can use that one for turning on/off everything.

    wow i love the inside being a solid black on that vs the regular one i may have to order up some wow version parts and swap em over. is the inside lcd bezel a gloss black or a more flat black?? thanks looks awesome though, i have not seen one in a while but i do remember it was sweet

    Thanks Eleron- I was looking under Display - did not think to look under system.


    Zfactor -

    The LCD Bezel looks to be a flat- its the same color as the inside of the computer (around the keyboard etc...) - I did not realize the non WOW was a different color.

    Wings (Alliance) - glow - its a pretty good effect but it would also be cool if they did a separate enclosed led effect for them but this is not too bad.

    Question about LoJack - does anyone know how this works? I'm in the process of reinstalling xp/vista and wonder if I should bother with the LoJack. Upon booting with OEM load it asked to register/setup.....

    Imagine if you don't play WOW but own a WOW laptop -- That's the case here - don't play but will probably roll a 55 Death Knight in Lich King to see how it is.

    In reality I don't think I'll even notice the wow icon above the keyboard - most of the gfx are on the outside so day to day use the only thing you see is the mat black on black screen/laptop base - All good from here.
