Looking for a decent wireless controller, to use with m1330. Doesn't really matter if it's Bluetooth or 2.4GHz Wireless I suppose.

I was going to get the wireless adapter to use 360 controllers, but the mighty long cable for the receiver makes it rather pointless - may as well stick to wired! I'd prefer just a small dongle or something.

    Thanks!

I'm not aware of any Bluetooth joypads that exist in the market to be honest with you. I opted for a cabled one in the end upon discovering that for every machine I'd want to use a wireless pad with I'd first have to install a whole slew of drivers from a disc that I'd have to have with me for every host machine to know what the pad was.

Atleast with a cabled one it's literally plug 'n' play on any machine. No mess, no fuss. For my needs it turned out 'wireless' wasn't quite as convenient as I'd expected it to be.

I opted for the classic 'Logitech Rumblepad 2' although it does come in a wireless flavour. They both resemble your typical Sony Playstation input device.

I know you don't like the long wired cable of the 360 dongle, but I have to say that it's still my favourite method of using wireless controllers on the laptop. One dongle for up to 4 controllers. I guess the dongle was created more for desktops (poke it in the back, and leave it on top of the machine or the desk).

yeah i too use the 360 wireless dongle on my desktop as well as my laptop... i do wish the dongle came in just a standard plug right into the usb and look like a flash drive type setup, but what can ya do?

I am waiting for a way to use my ps3 bluetooth controller via bluetooth on my laptop, that would be nice.

    Thanks for the replies!

I do actually have a wired 360 controller, I use it on my desktop and really like it. I'm just fussy, and would like everything to be neat and loose the wires. Hell, I don't really like the idea of USB dongles (hence I bought the Logitech VX Nano mouse with the minuscule dongle)... I simply see it as an unfortunate necessity.

Sounds like sticking with the wired 360 controller would be the best bet.
