I have an i5 460M with 6gb RAM, and i'm thinking that my Windows Experience Index seems quite low at 4.1.

My weak point at 4.1 is the graphics "Desktop performance for Windows Aero".

I know I have Optimus, and I'm pretty sure it's configured to give max video power when plugged in, so why is my score so low?

What are other i5 460m users getting?

    Thanks.

    I have a i5 - 560 with a GT 420m and my Aero score is 4.7.

Reason why the score is low is because Optimus doesn't switch over to your dedicated video card when it runs that specific test. And regardless of plugging it in, if Optimus doesn't activate then its gonna stay on the Integrated card.
