How much battery life do you guys with the XPS-15 (9530), with the 91WH battery?

I just interested to see how close it comes to the advertised 10 hours of battery life.

    Thank you

If I don't push it hard: browsing, office, etc., with mid-low brightness, it hovers around 10-11W, so I can get about 8 hours from it. I would say 6-7 hours is realistic.

Thanks; that's pretty good, and on par with a MacBook.

I get around 6 hours. I watch Youtube videos, video steams, browsing and simple reading (from chrome, Office Word and Powerpoint and pdf) with brightness level set at 60%. I usually have around 20 tabs open with Google Chrome.

I have Intel Display Power Saving Technology enabled (it's enabled by default).

    Hope this helps.

In Windows 8.1, you can open an admin command prompt and run a battery report with:

    powercfg /batteryreport

It'll create an html file that shows usage stats and, at the bottom, an estimated battery life based on those stats. Mine shows an average of 7:47 since 1/1/15. Not sure why the first entry is so jacked up. Makes it so that you have to manually calculate the life since install. I just changed my power plan, so I'll see if it helps.

It would be interesting to see others output. If anyone's is a lot higher, maybe they could share there power settings.
