    Just bought a samsung 64gb ssd 470 series for a 100 bucks and thinking about taking out dvd drive and putting my 7200rpm drive there. How slow will this be as I only need to save my work and play movies and songs off it. All apps and os will run off ssd. Or is it better to run an esata enclosure. Dvd drive means nothing to me

    Likely it is SATA 2, but most hard drives barely saturate PATA speeds..
