Does anyone know what 128gb SSD drive Dell usually use in the Studio 16 and if it's any good?

Dell uses Samsung drives and I think they are estimated up to 220 write and 150 read

Thanks for that , so basically they should be a lot faster than a normal hdd which is what I'd hoped for.

Do they improve battery life as well?

Cool, although I should have really asked these questions before I ordered one the other day :D

It's just a shame the larger capacity ones are so expensive.

I know they've dropped a lot of over the last year or two and I was quite surprised to find that the 128gb drive from Dell was only a £30 upgrade from the 500gb hdd hence the reason I ordered it on the basis that if it's no good then I can sell it for more than upgrade cost and a new 500gb drive would cost.
