Please try to restrain your answers to stuff available in India only, since I have got no one coming from abroad in the next 2 months

You will need a wireless sound receiver (which includes a transmitter) to connect to your speakers. You can find those at electronics and audio/video stores.

The transmitter is connected to your computer and the receiver to your speakers. You may also avail to wireless headphones too, which will be a simpler solution.

Don't expect to hear 5.1 surround sound though, you may need to switch your speakers to stereo mode if you want all of the speakers to sound.

Thanks...though I didnt get much hang of what you said....can you please be a little more elaborate (example of such parts, which ports they go into etc)...or if there is a previous thread like this one could you please tell me that (couldnt find it)...

Also, I am getting a free bluetooth headphone from Dell with my 1530 order, so I guess I always have that if not 5.1

    Thanks for the reply

    You need something like this:

    http://www.a1components.com/itemdisplayn.aspx?item=11161

    or like these:

    http://www.soundwithoutwires.com/
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...SHZ&srccode=cii_10043468&cpncode=19-3847095-2

Among the many others you will find on the market. One part is a transmitter and it connects to your computer's headphones port and the other one is the receiver which connects to your speaker's sound inputs.

Nevertheless, you may find equivalent equipment at local audio and video stores, simply ask the clerk what you need and they will guide you to the equipment that you need.

Bluetooth headphones have VERY limited range so you may not be able to use them around the house.
