Hi there. Has anyone else gotten this same alert? "WLAN Card Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close." Every so often I get this message, my computer is fine and my wireless is also fine, I just get that message. I have the 1395 mini-card, if that makes a difference. Also, I have noticed that my wireless signal gets dropped sometimes for no reason. It might be the routers fault but I'm not sure. My drivers for it are updated so I know that's not the problem. Anyone else experience this?

Usually if it's a sudden interruption with no apparent reason, it's likely local interference from a device on the same frequency as your router - microwave, cordless phone, etc.

You can try using Speed Meter Pro (Cisco) - it will monitor your network and let you know where problems are coming from. The link is: http://tinyurl.com/6noe3n

It has a free trial download.
