    Hi guys
I recently upgraded to the W7 RC x64 and since then I have been unable to get my wireless to work. I was previously using W7 beta builds x86 and the wireless worked fine. I have a Dell Wireless 1395 card. I am pretty sure that this is a driver issue related to the change to a x64 OS but I can't find anyone else who is having similar problems.
I can locate wireless networks but it just wont connect to them and troubleshooting does not locate the source of the problem. I have tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing the most recent one but to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :)

    Thanks

Not to sound like a troll, but it probably has something to do with the fact that the Dell (Broadcom) wireless cards aren't all that great. Do yourself a favor and get an Intel WiFi Link 5100 or 5300.

Did you "upgrade" or clean install. If you only upgraded, you probably should clean install, especially since you were previously using x86.

Also, this may sound like a noob question, are you within range of the router?

Latest Broadcom driver backwards compatible w/Dell Wireless 15xx/14xx/13xx, ect.

BTW: There is nothing wrong with Broadcom WLAN Mini-PCIe and Intel WLAN are just fine but for whatever reason there are absolutely no Wireless Router manufacturers that equip Intel Radios in their routers. Instead, using Broadcom, Ralink or Aetheros chips as their radios but not Intel....must be a reason! ;)

Ralink is garbage. I had a Ralink PCI wireless card in my desktop, and to this day, over a year after getting it, it has never been able to connect to a wireless network.

Doh! It was a clean install I'm not sure why I wrote upgrade. When I first moved to W7 it was an upgrade and it worked fine and now I have done a clean install it no longer works.
