I am having a little problem adjusting the volume on my dell xps 1530. I used to always be able to just hold the increase or decrease volume button, and it would work. However, when i try it not it only increases the first press then it goes away.
    How can i fix this?

    thank you

Is just the onscreen display going away? Can you hold down the button for a few seconds and then look at the Windows audio icon to see if the volume has adjusted? If it has, then I would suggest reinstalling Dell Quickset.

Funny I was just thinking about this, about to post the same thing. I believe this got to do with Dell's Quickset program, but I could be wrong. I'm going to research on this. :)
