So today all of a sudden when i was googling some stuff for class my video crapped out on and me everywhere it would displayed distorted and out of color and sync. It looked like [IMG]. I was using laptopvideo2go drivers for the card. However when i reinstall the dell laptop drivers from their website the video card works perfectly fine and doesnt create any problems. I have tried about 5 different lv2go drivers now and they all show up with the same problem.

What is causing only the lv2go drivers only to stop working? The dell drivers are a VERY big performance drop than the lv2go drivers.... This is really starting to bug me...

Can you be more specific which drivers you have used from laptopvideotogo and the steps you used to install it?

ive used the 174.74, 175.12, 177.26, 169.xx i forget. I had the 174.74 originally running when the error happened.

To install. I uninstall the old drivers, reboot, extract the lv2go drivers, dl the mod inf, put that in the extracted folder and hit replace. Than i have tried both the device manager find file and that way, and i have also just double clicked the setup.exe in the extracted driver folder....

have you tried using a driver-cleaner tool to remove 100% of any trace of your old drivers?

occasionally uinstalling doesn't get rid of -all- of the bits of driver, and sometimes those remaining bits can cause a problem when you put new ones on.

still, strange that the Dell ones would work fine but the LV2G ones are having a hissy fit.. :s
