Ok, so brand new XPS 1530. I want to set up a dual boot of XP and Vista. I'm trying to reformat and install XP and then install the drivers (Thanks Udi). Problem is when I load my XP disc, and press "R" to begin the reformatting process of all the drives, it asks for the administrator password. There shouldn't be one. So I pressed enter to just bypass it. It said I entered and invalid password.

    So...

I went to the BIOS and set up an administrator password. Tried booting from the XP disc again. It asked for a an Admin password, I entered the one I created. It still says "invalid" password. Can anyone explain to me what is going on?

NBR does not allow the discussion of bypassing a security measure(like passwords) for any reason. Please contact Dell for assistance.
