I am trying to get my flatscreen to work off of my laptop. It is an old commercial 720p panasonic. Unfortunately, when I plug my laptop in, all of the edges of the screen are cut off and it is hard to navigate. Any thoughts?

Would using a widi reciever help solve this? And has anyone else had any trouble with some of the recievers?

Also, what is the best video player to use when playing a movie on your laptop?
