I just took delivery of a new HP notebook and want to wipe the OS to remove bloatware. The only OS disc that came with the HP contains the same bloatware.

I have an OEM Dell 64 Vista disc that I got with my XPS M1530. Could I use the Dell disc to reinstall the OS on the HP machine and then use the HP's product id to activate? Do Dell OS discs include Dell bloatware or other Dell drivers?

No you can't. The Dell disc is OEM, and is tied to your XPS.
