Has anyone tried the usb 3.0 ports with compatible devices. I'm heard of some people having problems getting the system to recognise the usb3 devices and operating at usb 2.0 speeds.

Should clarify that I'm talking about the new XPS laptops.

I put my old 5400rpm hard drive into a usb 3.0 enclosure and it transfers at around 50+ mb/s. Hope that helps. It seems to be working.
