Ive noticed something peculiar on my 1530, it seems that on the left side (the one with 2 usb jacks) it is much more tight and harder to push the usb devices into it than the right side (with one jack). Ive tested them and all the usb jacks work. Anyone else have this?

Same this is wrong with mine. The power slot is the opposite though, extremely easy to pull the plug out and push it in.

i actually dont mind the tight fittin USB slots. takes some gettin used to but at least it feels really secure. i just use 1 hand to plug in and the other to hold the laptop. wigglin helps alot while takin out.

Yep, wigglage is definatly required for those ports! Bit annoying, but you get used to it.

I found the bottom one got looser over time... the top one is just as hard to use as the first day I got it.
