UK M1730 backpack

Folks,

I have ordered an M1730 backpack as part of my XPS order

It shows up in my order as :-

460-10251 XPS M1730 Backpack Carrying Case

I have seen pictures of the black and red one on the US site but it has a different part number.

Anybody got a UK version ?

I did haggle but not very hard, hate doing it and I hadn't realised I could until after I had placed my order which put me on the back foot

Probably could have got more but I did get:-

3 years warranty and the bag for free (Hence wondering what the bag was like)

Rest was list price...

I have the back pack. Its bloody massive! really well padde etc though.
I probably wont ever use it but got it for free anyways. I would have been prepared to sell you my brand new one for cheap!

Anyways, yes its black and red. Its got loads of pockets, but you gotta kinda guess where the laptop goes, as its not got a clear compartment fo rit, you just fit it in where you can!

Cant wait to get my 8800GTX!!! Ive ordered a second laptop for work with the 8800GTX so Im gonna swap cards with my system. Will get my delivery date by the end of the week if all goes well!

Yeah could you post the pictures of the backpack here? I'd love to see it. Dell staff couldn't even bother to give me a direct link in the email i sent them.

Yes you can. I got mine with my system, but Im pretty sure you can buy then from Dell Accessories/Parts.

 

I was trying to get details from Dell.

They have no information at all (hence my original request)

I spent an hour on click to chat - promised a response , no email. Person did say it was only available with a new system.

Sent an email to cust service yesterday before I found this response.

Still not got a response .....

 

I dont see why they would just sell it seperately TBH. Its not like its an upgrade or anything, its just an accessory!
Dell can be so picky sometimes.

 

Here sthe actual part number for the item, it may help, it may not, but worth a try!
